New Mauldin Small Group begins March 31-Prayer Primer Book Study

Post by meowsandy on Fri Mar 28, 2008 8:39 pm

After 18 months of talking about, we are finally getting started. We will study "Prayer Primer" by Thomas Dubay. On March 31, we will just be covering the introduction and anyone is welcome to come. You don't even need to own the book yet. After that we will meet every other Monday.

This should be a great way to step your prayer life up to the next level and meet other catholics in the area that share y our values.

You can post here, or email me at Meowsandy@yahoo.com for more information.

what time tonight?

Post by Jeanine Maillet on Mon Mar 31, 2008 11:25 am

Hey Sandy and Matt, Ed and I would love to go to this new group, our adoration is Monday nights though so that makes it challenging. But we can try and change that. What time does your group meet?

We will be meating at 6:30 tonight. But we could change that in the future to suit the majority.

I hope to see you here!

New topic, great time to join the group!

Post by Amysings4u on Mon Aug 18, 2008 10:06 am

Mauldin Bible Study has finished studying Thomas Dubay's Prayer Primer and is getting ready to begin a new study, the Catholic Scripture Study Series volume of Paul's Letter to the Galatians.

This is a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in studying Paul for our Holy Father's declared "Year of St. Paul". Most of the cost of the books have been generously donated, so we only need to pay $2 per volume!

We are considering a new day of the week in order to accomodate everyone who might be interested. If you would like to find out more, you are invited to a "meet and greet" pool party this Saturday, August 23rd, at 3:00PM to discuss the new material, consider the ideal day to meet, and meet other members of the group. pm amysings4u for directions. Attending the pool party will not obligate you to participate in the bible study, but it will be a great opportunity to meet DOC folks. Kids are most welcome and it is a private pool.

Hope you can come!
