Ultimate Frisbee

The Greenville Ultimate League is starting up a Spring League for Ultimate Frisbee. The entries are due by March 28. The games will played on Wednesday night, I think. I will post back here when I get more info. Here's the website

· Lottery Deadline: Fri. March 28th
· Pre Season / Orientation Game: 7:30 PM sharp Wed. April 2nd
· First Regular Season Game: 7:30 PM sharp Wed. April 9th
· Last Regular Season Game: 7:30 PM sharp Wed. May 14th
· Playoffs Round One: 7:30 PM sharp Wed. May 21st
· Playoffs Finals: 7:30 PM sharp Wed. May 28th
· Cost: $15 per person.
· Equipment: Bring water, cleats and light/dark shirts to delineate teams.
· The Forum: The Pavilion 400 Scottswood Road Taylors, SC 29687

I just wanted to mention that I think this looks really cool, and i hope you guys have an awesome time. I have choir on Wednesday nights, so I won't be able to participate, but I hope you get enough people!

I'd love to see some softball/soccer/powderpuff/badmitton/capture the flag action, too;-)

I meant to mention that the league is a mix and draft league. In other words, we won't be able to have a DOC team, but you will be drafted. Should still be fun.

Amy, good suggestions for teams, maybe a little dodgeball? I know that there is a kickball league in Greenville too...

dodgeball and kickball sound fun! anything that gets me outside and moving sounds fantastic--count me in as my schedule allows!

The ultimate league has started, and so far we have ~28 players. We've got 4 teams right now and are still taking new players. If you've never played before, it is a great way to get back in shape. Plus the people are very good teachers of the game, so you'll be up and running (pun intended) in no time.
